So many of us have empty or almost empty pill bottles in our homes. And that’s not including the bottles filled with expired medication.
But instead of letting those pill bottles pile up, what if you could reuse them? Well, you can! There are lots of ways to reuse old pill bottles. Just make sure you properly dispose of your medication first.
Here Are 10 Ways To Reuse Pill Bottles In Your Home:
1) Hide A Key
This one is genius! Glue a rock or pine cone to the top of your pill bottle. Open the key and place your bottle inside. Push it into the ground outside or in between other rocks so that it just looks like a rock in the dirt. You’ll know it’s your spare key and no one else will.

2) Earbud Container
Tangling up your earbuds can cause them damage. That can happen if you don’t wrap them neatly. Wrap them up neatly and place them inside an old pill bottle to prevent them from tangling.

3) Portable Sewing Kit
Pill bottles are great for making portable sewing kits. Just pop in a needle, some thread, safety pins, straight pins and some buttons. You can even stuff a piece of cloth with some cotton and glue it to the top of your cap to create a pin cushion. You can keep one in your purse or car.

4) Organizational Caddy
Make a cute desktop organizer from some pill bottles. Decorate your bottles and glue them together. Then you can fill them with stuff and keep it on your desk.

5) First Aid Kit
Fill a pill bottle with some bandages and single-use antibiotic ointment packets and burn cream. It allows you to keep a First Aid Kit wherever you go. Attach a key ring to the top of it and hang it with your keys.

6) Tooth Fairy Receptacle
Teeth can be really easy to lose when they fall out. This will make a little kid waiting for the Tooth Fairy very upset. Decorate a pill bottle and make it especially fancy for the Tooth Fairy. It will keep the tooth safe.

7) Travel Size Container
Don’t go buying trial size items of things. Instead just place your moisturizer, shampoo, and conditioner inside a pill bottle. They are the perfect trial size containers.

8) Jewelry Container
Keep your jewelry safe when you’re traveling. Just pop your small items like rings and earrings in a pill container. You’ll be sure to come home with them all this way.

9) Waterproof Match Set
It’s important to keep your matches dry when you’re going camping or are going to be outdoors. Place your matchsticks inside a container and tape a strike strip to the inside of the cap. You can also keep a loose piece of strike strip inside the container and just take it out when you need it.

10) Waterproof Wallet

If you’re going kayaking or are going to be near water, make a waterproof wallet. Just place your money inside a pill bottle and tie a string to the cap so you can wear it around your neck or wrist for safe keeping. Make sure you seal the hole where the string goes with some hot glue or something else to make it waterproof.
