A lint roller is mainly used to clean clothing, such as shirts, dress pants, and other items that you want to keep free of lint. But when you think about it, why not use a lint roller to clean other items, or even hard-to-reach areas, such as your car?

Here are some items that prove that the stickiness of the lint roller makes easy work of lint and other debris regardless of where you find it.

An easy way to remove bugs, such as spiders, from your house is to use a lint roller. Instead of squishing it with a paper towel the next time you see an insect in the house, get out the lint roller. The bug will stick to the tape of the roller and then you can ball up the tape and throw them in the trash.

Breaking a cup, plate, or other item made of glass leaves a shattered mess all over the floor. Even if you get all of the big pieces, little shards of glass usually remain. Fortunately, you can use a lint roller to pick up the remaining pieces; just make sure to be careful when doing so.
