Well, that’s….umm, intimate.

When you’re married long enough there are things you do in front of your partner that you might have previously kept to yourself, but this is taking things a bit too far.

Then again, if you only have one bathroom and taco night comes a few times a week, maybe it really does end up working out.

Talk about killing two birds with one stone. Or sink, in this case.

We don’t know what happened here, but however it came to be, it’s wrong on every level.

So which one do you think is functional? The sink or the power outlet? Or BOTH?!

The world is built for the able-bodied, that’s for sure.

This is what happens when you give a contract to someone who doesn’t quite understand the end goal.

Now, it’s confusing, inconvenient, and downright impossible to use for everyone.

We’re deeply confused by this dining room jacuzzi. And we don’t just have design concerns but sanitary ones as well.

Hey, if you own the house, you can do whatever you want. But we want to see the real estate listing when they decide to sell. How do you capture the essence of this “amenity”?

Ok, this looks like a public restroom, but let it serve as a lesson to anyone trying to figure out where to put their toilet paper holder.

What happens when you don’t figure it out right away and carry some TP over with you?

Nevermind, we don’t want to know.

Which genius invented this, much less installed it?

Freud would certainly have something to say about one’s obsession with seeing all those inner workings.

Can’t you just peer in if you’re curious? And wouldn’t you have to crouch down uncomfortably anyway to see the “magic” happen?

People are really nailing these bathroom disasters.

This one is so deeply unsanitary that it makes us want to gag a little.

You know they make plush seats that can be wiped off, right?

And does carpeting seem all that comfortable to sit on?

Why? How?!

We know it’s hard to redesign a kitchen, but we see extra wall space for those cabinets and a place to put the refrigerator that isn’t in the middle of the room.

It’s such a waste of space, not to mention a bad aesthetic.

It’s either the penthouse or lobby for us in this elevator. Otherwise, we’re not sure where we’d end up.

This is so unnecessarily confusing we almost want someone to have to answer for it!

This is a great way to carpet your stairs if you enjoy going to the emergency room.

You’d think that after just a few stairs, the contractors (or DIYers) would have seen the problem. Then again, after looking at that pattern, you can’t really focus on much of anything.

They know there’s already a railing there, right?

And if the second one was installed for safety purposes, we’ve got some harsh news for these folks.

At least you can see where the stairs are though. We’re not sure which staircase wins the award for the worst between this and the previous slide.

Why would you continue to install this?!

And why turn it on?

We really hope they kept the reciept for this one – and that they hire a professional for the next project.

Apparently, someone really wanted a fireplace. And they didn’t want it to be electric.

In fact they were so passionate about it that they figured it would be a nice idea to just build the chimney right up against the dormer, blocking the window.

Now, the only light they’re getting in there is from the glow of the fire.

Did they think to themselves, “Hey, you know what would be cool? A phallic set of windows.”

Or did they somehow not see the plans to this first?

This would be the worst place to have a hangover. And yet it totally deserves to be yacked on.

There’s something totally 80s about it, but mostly it’s just a wretched mess.

If your days don’t hold a whole lot of excitement, consider installing this deathtrap outside your garage.

That way, when you leave home and return you can really get your heart racing. Or plummet to your death. Dealers choice.

This is why you should never DIY if you don’t have skills. This person should have just quit after the first hour.

Or maybe that’s as long as it took them to make this mess.

This is the kind of construction project that makes light bulb companies rich.

Let’s face it, no one is going to remember (or want) to unscrew that bulb every time they open that cabinet.

We can’t believe we have to say this, but don’t ever DIY anything to look like you smeared feces on it. Especially in the bathroom.

But it’s a rule that applies to everything, really.

We get it – you want some natural light. It’s good for your mental health.

But we don’t know why someone would even bother making a window so small. Do you think they make tiny blinds for that?

Is it meant to be a hammock? Or can you jump on it?

What happens if you spill your drink?

How is it comfortable?

So many questions and so few answers…

One skill you need if you’re going to build something is depth perception – and this person clearly doesn’t have it.

Nor do they have any common sense.

Don’t you think you’d want to ask what the customer was trying to achieve before you got started making one of the sets from Labyrinth?

Ok, so maybe it blocks the peripheral view of the person using the urinal.

But is that really enough justification for the worlds smallest and most useless divider?

You’d come home one whole time before realizing you no longer had a bumper on your car.

And even if you could somehow get a vehicle up there, we’d like to see someone try to shovel it in the winter.

We’ve seen duct tape do a lot of things, but not make something watertight.

This might have been done out of financial necessity, which we can appreciate, but it’s certainly not “fixed.”

But…NO. That’s now how it works.

We know it’s not a DIY but it’s so stupid it seemed to belong here.

That’s why you need a pro.

You can’t just waltz into the hardware store and expect to come out with the same kitchen that a professional would create.

This is the kind of thing that happens when you get too confident.

This must have been taken in an alternature universe where they have flying (or at least hovering) cars.

Otherwise, those are some fierce tires this homeowner has if they can get over that bump!

Maybe you noticed right away, but if not, once you see it you’ll be perplexed beyond belief.

We’ll give you a hint – you shouldn’t need toilet paper in the shower.

Is it, like, a metaphor? Art? Stupidity?

Or did someone just move the stairs for a moment?

We really hope it’s the latter.

Well, it’s efficient.

We’d be worried about setting our clothing on fire (or burning our house down via a lint fire), but maybe that’s just us.

Can anyone explain why there are two sinks though?

We’re almost speechless.

There are so may ways to hurt yourself, it’s practically impressive.

In fact, we hardly have the energy the name everything wrong with this photo.

Oh, c’mon! This can’t be real.

The garage had to be built after the tree was in place – so why?

Maybe you can get a motorcycle in there?

It’s great to see people recycle things, but we’re not sure we understand the concept here.

It’s functional, but it looks awful.

Interesting motif. We’re just not sure the kitchen is the place for it.

But what we’d really like to know is whether or not some of those cabinets really are speakers.

At least whoever installed this faucet has the excuse that it’s abnormally far away from the sink.

But why install it when it’s so clear it isn’t going to reach all the way?!

Why not just hang a scenic photo?

Window treatments would imply there’s some sort of window behind them, which is clearly not the case here!

If this was created out of necessity, then we salute the creator.

If this was a Pinterest suggestion, then that’s a whole other story.

Either way, it’s pretty darn ugly.

You have to shop a little harder, but they do in fact make ovens that don’t have a tall back.

And they make them specifically to fit into spaces like this!

We’re trying to decide which we hate more: the fact that they designed the kitchen in a way that put the island right under those pillars or the fact that they seem to have used floor tile for the countertops.

You know what? It doesn’t matter. We hate it all equally.
