In fact, according to Google U.S. Data, the watch time for beauty YouTubers alone increased to 75% from 2017-2018 and make-up transformation videos has increased 110% year over year. Just imagine how vast the reach of the beauty industry is in the internet to spread positivity!
Makeover videos and reality shows are popular because they revitalize a person’s self-confidence.
You notice how a person glows up once they see the difference when they see themselves in the mirror.
What used to be someone who refuses to look themselves in the mirror now can’t stop being in awe of their reflection. The work of these make-up artists is like magic.
And that’s something that Christopher Hopkins excels as an artist.
Christopher is a man of many expertise. He’s an author, entrepreneur, speaker, singer, and media personality. But one thing he’s known for is being a remarkable makeover artist.
He loves his job because it gives ordinary people the limelight. He believes that giving someone a makeover puts them in the spotlight, making them feel like a star and drawing that feeling of confidence that they can radiate to the world.
A visionary artist, we could say.
His canvass? The beautiful Theresa of Manchester, Tennessee.
Theresa just turned 60 last year when she called Christopher for help. She had her hair this long since she was a teenager.
This time, Theresa wanted some change. However, this does not mean she doesn’t like the way she looks.
“Age has never bothered me. I’m grateful with whatever age I’m at.”
A perfect mantra to inspire everyone. (Preach!)
Theresa admits she also had fears before heading to the makeover, saying that she’s afraid that she “will look the same when I walk out of the room.”
So, what is Christopher’s plan for Theresa?
Theresa loves her grey hair, so Christopher doesn’t want to change that beautiful crown.
Instead, he trimmed and styled it to give her face vertical assistance to compliment her round face. He cut it to a flipped inverted bob sitting just above her shoulders.
Imagine how much hair was cut off!
But Christopher did not stop with the hair!
To complete the makeover look, he touched up Theresa with just the right amount of make-up to give her fair a glow up.
The color tones applied on her face – from blush to lipstick – was enough to bring out the beauty in Theresa’s face.

Although, she has one thing to say about her new look:
