Many brides and grooms have a few tricks up their sleeves on their wedding day. Whether it be a surprise choreographed dance or a special musical performance – couples will try and find ways to make their event unforgettable.

Guests who attended a wedding in Norway got quite the show during the ceremony, thanks to the bride. Typically, a live singing performance might take place at the reception, but these guests didn’t have to wait at all! In fact, it was a surprise that surely none of them will ever forget.

Guests didn’t have a clue.

Michelle kept the plan a surprise for everyone who was attending their wedding, which was held in Gjøfjell Church. Although they probably knew it would be a beautiful event, surely no one was expecting a live performance during the ceremony!

It started out like many other weddings.

After Michelle arrived at the church, all of the guests rose to their feet before she began her walk down the aisle. Traditionally, music is playing in the background, and this event was no different. Only instead of “Here Comes the Bride,” it was Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”

There was a twist.

Once Michelle started heading to the altar she finally unveiled her surprise. Guests wouldn’t just be listening to a piano version of “Can’t Help Falling in Love” – she would be singing the song too! When you think about it, it’s like getting to attend a wedding and concert in one.

Thankfully, the whole thing was filmed and it’s warming hearts across the internet.

In the video, Michelle begins crooning “Can’t Help Falling in Love” while slowly following the flower girl. If you haven’t heard the pop-singer before, she has a beautiful, soothing voice that pairs very nicely with the song. One might say she even looks and sounds like an angel as she floats down the aisle.

A magical experience for everyone.

Not only did guests (and the lucky groom) enjoy the special performance, but it was an amazing moment for Michelle as well. She wrote on Facebook:

“It is of my greatest moment so far in life, when I got to surprise everyone with song on the way up to my love ❤️”

When Michelle reaches the altar it gets even more heart-melting.

She joins hands with her soon-to-be husband and looks lovingly in his eyes. Then, she continues singing the lyrics directly to him, and you can tell she means every word. The scene is so sweet it might have you grabbing a tissue.

Sure, live entertainment is common at weddings. But it’s not every day that the bride is a professional singer and you get to witness a breathtaking performance during the ceremony. Talk about a wedding you don’t forget.

Congrats to the lovely couple!
