Playroom makeover
This playroom needed a lot of storage with the option to increase storage in the future. It uses stacked PLATSA that are accented with some cool LEGO sticker imagery. More PLATSAs can always be stacked if extra storage is needed.


Fancy play kitchen
You can turn a plain Ikea children’s play kitchen into a super fancy one that looks just like your own. This person used some peel-and-stick marble paper to create the look of a granite countertop. She used a Cricut machine to create all the stickers for the backsplash and to make the stove and microwave look real. A few pails and items for the dollar store helped create additional storage.


Ikea RAST makeover
This is an exquisite DIY of the Ikea RAST. It takes the RAST, a plain light wood finish three-drawer chest, and leaves out the bottom drawer. Legs were added to raise it off the floor as well as new knobs. Then it got a paint job in a gorgeous green color.


Playful EKET cube makeover
This EKET cube makeover went perfectly in this space-themed children’s room. They were painted in fun colors and placed in odd positions to create an awesome focal point.


Mirrored console table
This person was able to create the appearance of a high-end mirror console table with two pieces and a painted wall. They painted a section of their wall black and placed peel-and-stick IKEA mirrors over it in a grid. Then the placed a console table in front of it.


UTRUSTA rack hack
The UTRUSTA organization rack is a slide-out rack that is double the size that is typically used for a tall and narrow closet. This person cut the rack in half and used a little bit of welding to create perfectly customized under the sink storage.


Kallax kitchen island
This hack creates a beautiful multifunctional piece. It uses an IKEA KALLAX with drawers. A regular table top was placed over it, and chairs were placed behind it to create a kitchen island with seating.


Narrow hallway storage
This is a brilliant way to add storage to a narrow hallway. It uses stacked IKEA Trones, which pull out. Pairing it with a wooden hanging shelf makes it look a touch more expensive.


Rolling kitchen island
This is another incredible kitchen island hack. It combines three KALLAX units that are connected with the INLAGG connection hardware. They are then raised on castors so that they can move around.


Room divider
This hack combines two KALLAX shelves and two EKET pieces. It is placed in the middle of a room to create a divider that separates a therapy space from an office space.


Tool storage
There’s no reason your too storage can’t look stylish. This hanging pole from IKEA is paire with some rustic Indian cooking pots to create an elegant storage option.


Bed frame hack
This person created a bed frame from IKEA furniture. It pairs at least three pieces of shelving units together then adds a piece of chipboard on top of them before adding the mattress. That’s one piece of furniture they didn’t have to buy.


Sliding bar cart
Are you looking for a bar cart or cabinet without the bulk. This hack uses a slide-out Ikea drawer to hold bar items and glasses.


Custom bathroom sink
This family was able to customize a beautiful bathroom sink using the GODMORGON cabinet. It was paired with a customized stained wooden shelf piece that was used for the countertop.


Bed safety hack
The IKEA Kura loft bed is a popular option for families with children. This family decided to add some wooden fencing as a safety measure.


Cover panel headboard
This headboard was made from some Ikea cover panels, which are typically used for the side of cabinets. Instead, they were stacked and mounted to create a beautiful customized headboard.


Bread bin nightstand cabinet
This unique-looking cabinet was actually meant for storing bread. It combines to Ikea bread bins that are glued and reinforced together. It is then painted before some legs were added to turn it into a nightstand cabinet.


Shoe display cabinet
The Ikea Flysta doesn’t only serve as a bookshelf. It can be repurposed for all types of things. This person used three side-by-side and turned it into a shoe display shelf.


Breakfast bar
This breakfast bar was created to fit alongside this person’s freezer. It uses a four-cube KALLAX shelf that added four feet to it. A TROTTEN tabletop was added along with two OLVO extending legs.


KURA bed makeover
This KURA bed was beautifully customized into a little girl’s dream. It uses a KURA bed that is outfitted with some flowery peel-and-stick paper. A hidden play or stage space is created by using BERGPALM bed linen to create a curtain.
