Some people choose to fill their gardens with nothing but beautiful flowers and plants.

Others like to spice things up a bit with various garden ornaments like birdbaths or wind chimes.

And then there’s ponds.

If you’ve considered adding a water feature to your garden but aren’t sure what to do, then you’ve got to check out what one man did in his garden.

In the video below, you can watch a heart-shaped terrarium get built brick by brick until it is finished.

It’s very impressive.

But it’s simple enough to build yourself.

All you’ll need are some bricks, some cement, and a little time. As you watch this terrarium start to come to life, you really can’t picture just how beautiful it ends up.

By the end, there are waterfalls, cement leaf petals, aquatic plants, and even fish living inside the terrarium.

If you start by stacking your bricks in a heart shape, you will soon be on your way to having the foundation built.

You’ll just need to make sure that you fill all the cracks with cement so that no water leaks out in the end.

Also, be sure to lay some piping through the bottom of the hearts so that you can pump water from the lowest pool to the tallest in order to keep the water clean and fresh.

The man in the video decides to use leaves as a mold in order to make a cascading waterfall into the tallest pool.

This looks great and if you want to do the same you can watch how he does it.

However, you can create whatever type of cascading feature that you wish here.

You are only limited by your creativity.

Once the man gets all of these pools filled and his pump working, he adds some beautiful aquatic plants that look like they’ll be plenty happy living in those pools.

The plants aren’t just for looks.

They are also creating a suitable habitat for the fish that will be living in the terrarium.

The plants will keep the fish happy and healthy and even provide for them a place to hide.
