Note:
It’s up to you what flowers you will be using. You can customize this DIY project according to your liking. You can also use USB-powered fairy lights.

For this article, we will just follow the instructional video.

Steps:

1) Lay newspapers or old cartons where you will spray paint the hula hoops. You can wear a mask to protect yourself from the odor.

2) Once you’ve sprayed all the hula hoops, let them dry.

3) Get the glaze and spray a thin coat on all your hula hoops. Let them air dry.

4) Once they are ready, drill a hole on each side of the hula hoop. You may notice that your paint would chip as you work on the holes, but that’s okay. You can fix them later.

5) Put one of the hoops inside the other. Make sure the holes are lined up. From the outside, push your bolt through all three hoops. Secure with a nut. Do the same on top. Give each one the same space until you have yourself an orb.

6) Repaint and hang to dry.

7) While your orb is drying, get your decorative cake tray and put a small hole in the middle part. You can use an old glue gun to slowly melt the plastic. (Don’t push too much to avoid cracks.)

8) Insert the plastic tray on top of the golden orb. It would fit the remaining bolt, but don’t push it too much. Secure with another nut.

9) Using your gorilla glue, secure the plate and the hula hoops in place.

10) Prepare your fairy lights and put the batteries in place.

11) Using your glue gun, secure your styrofoam in the middle part of the cake tray.

12) Depending on your preference, you can glue the fairy lights or tape them in place.

13) Once done, wrap your fairy lights on each hula hoop all the way up. If you have excess lights, let them flow down for added effects.

14) Now, the fun part starts. You can now create your flower arrangement according to your plan.

15) If you will follow the tutorial’s flower arrangement, she started with flat eucalyptus. She allowed the leaves to flow down for the stunning effect. Do the same thing with the wisteria.
