A lot of us wish we could rock the styles we did in the past. Yet for 66-year-old Debbie, she was ready for a fresh start and to say goodbye to her old “hippie” look.
Thankfully, she had The Makeover Guy by her side to update her into a glamorous woman of 2019. It’s a transformation that has the internet applauding over the results!
Debbie’s flower-child style may beam you back to the Summer of Love. But don’t let that fool you. She’s really a professional from Harpers Ferry, West Virginia that was desperate for a change.
Now being in her 60s, it was on Debbie’s bucket list to finally step away from the same appearance she’d held for 40 years. In her interview she explained:
“I came here so that I could kind of begin the next phase of my life.”
Who better to help Debbie turn the hands of time then Christopher Hopkins – otherwise known as The Makeover Guy.
For the last several decades, Christopher’s been helping people’s dreams come true through his beauty transformations. He’s styled everyone from celebrities to women like Debbie, who just want to feel good about themselves again.
Although every makeover is unique they all have one thing in common. The results are always fabulous!
Fortunately for us, Christopher shares his work on his YouTube channel with videos that warm the heart and lift the soul.
But that doesn’t mean The Makeover Guy’s a one-trick pony. In addition to being a master stylist, he’s also a renowned singer, entrepreneur, and best-selling author. Christopher’s book Staging Your Comeback, A Complete Beauty Revival for Women Over 45 has been changing lives for the past decade.
Debbie too was ready to get her outer beauty back. She showed up at The Makeover Guy’s salon in Minneapolis, Minnesota with long wild hair that didn’t represent how she viewed herself.
She explained:
“I’m an old hippie, I don’t want to be a hippie anymore. I’m not a hippie, I’m a professional person and I want to look the part.”
Thanks to Christopher and his team Debbie’s dream came true. With a new hairstyle and a face of makeup, she no longer looked like she was heading to Woodstock. Instead, she appeared more like a movie star ready for the silver screen.
It’s hard to even recognize Debbie after her makeover. She looks younger, fresher, and absolutely gorgeous. She herself was happy with the results as well.
“I feel like I’m beautiful again. I had lost that, and now I feel like I’m getting it back. It’s a good feeling … I think this is really going to improve my morale. You know, we need to put time into ourselves.”
So, what did Christopher’s fans think of his latest work? One woman expressed online:
“That is NOT what I was expecting at all! I love it! Great haircut and color, and nice makeup. Very stylish and professional. Great job!!”
Another person shared:
“Christopher, this was one of your best. She was beautiful to begin with, but you and the team enhanced the heck out of her looks. She looks amazing!”
It’s an uplifting transformation with results you don’t want to miss. Debbie no longer looks like a hippie, that’s for sure – but watching her develop a new love for herself is the greatest part of all.
