Clean the surface of your tile with alcohol. It’s important that the surface is free of dust and oils so the photo will adhere better. You can find ceramic tiles at hardware store.

Apply glue to the back of your photo and press it to the center of the tile. Make sure there are no air bubbles and leave it to dry for at least an hour.

Add a layer of sealant on top of the photo to seal it in afterwards. You can use gloss gaze, decoupage, or white wood glue. Leave to dry for at least 24 hours.

Another method is to use high gloss to seal the coaster. This has a nicer finish and shows the colors really well. You can find high gloss at any craft store. Also leave this to dry for at least 24 hours.

Finally, cut felt to fit the size of the coaster and glue it to the bottom of the tile. This prevents the coasters from scratching your table.
