Ancho Dry Rub

All-Purpose Roasting Rub
The all-purpose rub is best used with poultry, but it says all-purpose in the name so do what you will with it.
To make it, combine 6 tbsp. of sea salt, 2 tbsp. of smoked paprika, 2 tbsp. of onion powder, 2 tbsp. of garlic powder, 2 tbsp. Italian seasoning, 2 tbsp. of brown sugar, 1 tbsp. of thyme, 1 tbsp. of mustard powder, and 1 tbsp. of black pepper.
Lemon-Pepper Herb Rub
This tangy rub is delicious with seafood and even poultry. All you need is 3 tbsp. of Italian seasoning, 2 tbsp. of parsley, 2 tbsp. of garlic powder, 2 tbsp. of onion powder, and 6 tbsp. of lemon pepper.
Smoky Texas Rub
This rub is a must if you’re serving barbecue this summer and will jazz up any beef or pork dish. Mix together 6 tbsp. of smoked paprika, 3 1/2 tbsp. of brown sugar, 1 tbsp. of garlic powder, 1 tbsp. of onion powder, 4 tsp. of oregano, and 4 tsp. of salt.
Blackening Spice Rub
You can use this rub on pretty much anything, including beef, pork, poultry, or seafood. Whisk together 1/4 cup garlic powder, 1/4 cup onion powder, 1/4 cup thyme, 6 tbsp. paprika, 4 tsp. black pepper, 4 tsp. cayenne pepper, 4 tsp. basil, and 4 tsp. of oregano.
Santa Fe Seasoning
Not only can you use this on beef, pork or poultry, but it also tastes great in pumpkin or butternut squash soups. To add a southwestern twist to your dish, add 1/4 cup of cumin, 3 tbsp. of ground coriander, 3 tbsp. of chili powder, 2 1/2 tbsp. oregano, 2 1/2 tbsp. of thyme, 3/4 tsp. of cloves, 3/4 tsp. of allspice, and 3/4 tsp. of cinnamon.
Sweet Carolina Barbecue Rub
Add a touch of sweetness to your barbecue with this rub that is great on beef and pork. This recipe uses 1/4 cup of paprika, 3 tbsp. of brown sugar, 2 tbsp. of cumin, 2 tbsp. of chili powder, 2 tbsp. black pepper, 2 tbsp. of garlic powder, 1 tbsp. of cayenne pepper, and 2 tsp. of onion powder.
Montreal Seasoning
This rub is best on steak, but it always works well with other beef dishes, pork and even on your french fries. To make this mix just combine 1/2 cup of salt, 2 tbsp. of black pepper, 1 tbsp. of crushed red pepper, 1 tbsp. of thyme, 1 tbsp. rosemary, 1 tbsp. fennel seeds, 2 tsp. onion powder, and 3/4 tsp. garlic powder.
