Easter is right around the corner, and it’s about time we got ready for the holiday. While it’s not as festive as other holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving, there’s still little reason to not decorate and get your house ready if you have the time!

Fortunately, YouTube channel Handimania has recently created a handy tutorial that will help you create an adorable Easter decoration. Making this DIY Sock Bunny is incredibly simple, and it’s a great project to do with your kids or grandchildren.

For this project, you will need the following:

  • 1 sock
  • rice
  • scissors
  • tape
  • twin
  • ribbon
  • permanent marker

First, fill your sock with rice. You want the sock to be 2/3 full of rice. Next, use your hand to sculpt where the head will be – this is the part of the sock that doesn’t have rice in it. Next, tie a piece around the neck of the sock and one between the base of the ears. Use scissors to cut your ears in two. Give them a trim if you’d like – it’s all personal preference from here. Tie a ribbon around the neck for a nice finishing touch, and draw in the face for your bunny.

The result is adorable. Your guests will love it!

Please SHARE this neat Easter DIY project with your friends and family.
