I never knew that it would be so easy to make your own sunscreen! Not only is it super simple to make but it’s good for your skin and won’t harm the environment. Totally a winner in my books!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup shea butter
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/8 cup avocado oil
  • 2 tbsp. beeswax
  • 1 tsp. carrot seed oil
  • 1 tsp. red raspberry oil

Directions

  1. Melt together the shea butter, coconut oil, avocado oil and beeswax in a double boiler.
  2. Remove the mixture from heat and let cool. Once cool add the carrot seed oil and red raspberry oil and stir.
  3. Store your sunscreen in an airtight container and apply before sun exposure.
