What You Need

  • a mason jar
  • food coloring
  • glue
  • a small bowl for mixing

Getting Started

First, add about one tablespoon of water in a bowl and your desired amount of food coloring to it. The amount of food coloring will determine how pigmented the jar will be. Anything less than ten drops will not show up. Below is a reference of how pigmented 20, 40, and 60 drops of food coloring is.

Place your jars downwards on a baking tray lined with parchment paper then put them in the oven for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, flip them so they  are right sides up. Leave them in for another 15 minutes.
