Of course, it would be so much better if we could get these projects done using affordable materials, right?
So, we’ve found three very easy DIY projects using Dollar Tree items, and you’ll surely love them.
Let’s get started.
DIY Project 1
You’ll need the following items:
1 Cooking Concepts Nickel Colored Wire Paper Towel Holder
2 Essentials Round Vinyl-Coated Wire Baskets
Pliers
Zip ties
E6000 glue
Spray paint
The first thing that you need to do is to place your towel holder and place it at the bottom of the basket.
This makes it easier for you to find the middle part of the basket. Then, using your pliers, cut the basket, just enough for the paper towel to slide through.
Do the same with the second white wired basket.
Now, get your first wired basket and slide it through the paper towel holder, and secure it using zip ties.
We will do the same with the second basket, but before that, choose your desired height and secure the paper towel holder using zip ties.
In this video, she used four zip ties to ensure that the basket won’t fall off. The zip ties will serve as a ledge for the second basket.
Slide the second wired basket through the towel rack, and secure it with E6000. Let it set for 12-24 hours.
You can choose to spray paint it or keep it as is. You can use this in the kitchen or the bathroom.
DIY Project 2
You’ll need the following items:
1 Large Essentials Wire Tray
2 Small Essentials Wire Trays
Zip ties
Zip-tie the smaller basket at the bottom of the larger basket. Secure with zip ties and cut off the excess.
Repeat the process at the top with the second smaller basket. Secure with zip ties and cut the excess off.
Spray paint to your desired color. (optional)
That’s it. You have an adorable caddy that you can place in the kitchen, bathroom, study room, or garage.
DIY Project 3
You’ll need the following items:
Candle holder
Essentials Round Wire Baskets
E 6000 glue
Round wood that fits the basket
Metallic acrylic paint
Paintbrush
Measuring tape or ruler
Pencil
Drill bit
Fancy door pull with nut and bolt
Get your circle gold basket and your candle holder. Attach it to the basket using your E 6000 glue.
Let it dry for 12-24 hours.
Paint your circular wood with the paint of your choice, and let it dry.
Measure the middle part of the wood and once you’re done, carefully drill a hole. Attach the fancy door handle.
