1. Welcome to the $1 Hack Home

For this project you will want to purchase photo frames, kitchen towels, and any extra touches you want to add, such as the greenery in the picture above. These signs were created by simple kitchen towels being fitted into the photo frames. Then the “Welcome” and “Thankful” stickers were put on the outside of the glass frames to add a special touch.

2. Side Table For The Win

A side table for three dollars sounds unheard of but that is what this cost! By purchasing two trashcans and a tray from a dollar store. All you have to do is glue the bottoms of the trash cans together to create the stand. Once that has been stabilized you will glue the tray to the top of one of the trash cans and, voilà, you have a side table. Remember you can always spray paint or paint the trashcans to match the already existing colors in the room.

This flower vase started off as a shiny metal container but two items completely reinvented it. All you have to do is soak the container with vinegar to dull the shine. Then add a bit of black paint by smearing it around and you will have the perfect distressed flower vase.
