6. Start small
Want to start your plant collection? Start with a small dolphin succulent. It’s small but so long!
7. Out of water
Not all dolphins can be found in water. Some are found inside people’s homes. But they’re still swimming out of the pot.
8. A survivor
This one survived the winter season! Yay! And its plant mama was just so happy it survived because there’s so much love here for each other.
9. Mini dolphins

12. One splash
This is quite unusual. It’s a dolphin succulent with a single branch of dolphin leaves. Wow.
13. It’s a start
This dolphin succulent is still too small. Apparently, the long dolphin succulent branches started out small like this.
14. The one that got away
This one is outside a pot! And it’s on the balcony. We love how this one looks like and wonder if it’ll grow even longer.
15. Out of the waves
The dolphins are not a lot in this plant. And we love how they described this plant as coming out of the waves. It’s an art piece in itself.
16. Physical distancing
This dolphin succulent is practicing physical distancing. That’s great! Hope more people can follow their lead.
17. Custom design
You can get your succulent plants custom-designed, did you know that? This company does that! And we’re glad they added dolphin plants, too.
18. A birth
The baby dolphins are coming! They’re coming out. Before you know it, they’re already grown. But for now, enjoy their youth.
19. A flower
Look! The dolphin succulent has grown a flower. That’s such a cool flower.
20. A string of dolphins
This string of dolphins looks like a masterpiece. This proves that urban gardens are possible with dolphin succulents. It looks beautiful!
21. Another flower angle
Look at that! There’s a flowering bud plus there’s another bud that’s about to open. That flower is just so beautiful.
22. Propagating
It looks like dolphin succulents grow so fast. It just makes sense to divide them and place them in multiple pots. So many swimming dolphins!
23. A curtain of dolphins
Yeah, she needs to have her dolphin succulent high up there. That’s like a curtain of dolphins right there! She’s thinking of downsizing but glad she’s not downsizing this plant!
24. Grows anywhere
You don’t need a pot or a balcony window for your dolphin succulent. You can use an old coffee bottle, too. Although, you’ll need to transfer it to a bigger pot because when this grows, the bottle is going to break.
25. The underwater world
The dolphin succulent has partnered with their fellow members of the underwater animal world. They’re comfortably hanging by the patio with seahorses. Very nice pairing!
26. A little curve
Some dolphin succulents stretch out and hang out over the pot. This one hangs and curves out. And it looks like the dolphins are going in different directions.
27. Make a plan
When growing dolphin succulents, you can start small. But you need to have a bigger pot ready when it grows because it grows very long. And do you know where to place it?
28. Senecio Peregrinus
That’s the scientific name of this cute plant. And it’s definitely become a hit, especially in Japan. How many of this plant do you already have in your house?
29. Spear head
This is a different kind of dolphin succulent. And they’re dolphins on a stalk and not strings with this one.
30. To the mothership
Dolphins live in water. And it’s nice to have dolphin succulents near the water. They’re not going to jump in but it just feels good to have them near water.
31. When it grows
They’re small here but they can grow up to 6 inches tall, depending on how you take care of it. And the longer the vine gets, the more dolphin leaves it grows!
32. Best of both worlds
The lady who owns this got this dolphin succulent as a gift from her best friend. She loves plants and the beach and her best friend though this was a clear combination of the two. Don’t you just love that?
33. Easy to grow
Dolphin succulents are easy to cultivate. Just soak the seeds in water first and then cold water. Then plant them in the soil. That’s it!
34. Grow from cuttings
Or you can grow it from cuttings. This plant will grow roots when it touches the soil. It’s a low-maintenance plant so even beginners can take care of it.
35. The light
If you’re placing them outdoors, place the dolphin succulents in a shaded spot and away from direct sunlight. And if you’re placing the plant inside, place them by a south-facing window so they’ll still get access to sunlight (but not direct). In the winter, place it under LED Grow Light.
36. Warm weather
Dolphin succulents require warm-weather to grow year-round. So if it’s the winter, they need to be placed under warm light to survive.
37. A green sea of dolphins
See how beautiful the dolphin leaves are? You gotta be careful because mealybugs, spider mites, and other pests love dolphin succulents. So if these pests get to it, they can wreak havoc on an otherwise healthy plant.
38. What about water?
They can retain water for a long time so no need to water all the time. But make sure to place them in a pot with drains or it’ll make the plant sick because its water-logged.
