When folded up in its transportable position, it looks like any other trailer home or RV, but this mobile home is far from ordinary. In fact, it’s quite majestic.
This incredible truck looks fairly unassuming at first glance, but once you get a look at the back of the mobile home, you get the sense that things might not be what they seem. That’s because this truck isn’t just a truck.
When the truck is parked, it can be unfolded and expanded to become a magical, fantasy castle — complete with two ‘towers’ with a faux brick facade.
This one-of-a-kind mobile home was designed and built by Justin, Jola, and their son Piko. They wanted to have a transportable house for their adventurous lifestyle.
When fully expanded, the living space is set up to be a cozy space for the family to gather and relax.
There is a seating area, dining nook, and functioning kitchen. The family even built a high chair into the table for their infant son.
The kitchen is surprisingly large; it features a compact fridge, sink, and small stove.
The entire downstairs opens up to the outside. It was important to the family to have an indoor to outdoor flow.
Up above the dining room table, there are ‘lazy Susan-style’ storage drawers.
One of the ‘towers’ serves as the family’s small toilet room with composting toilet.
The second ‘tower’ is home to the shower and bathing area.
It even houses a small washing machine inside as well.
If you climb up and over the dining room table, past the storage drawers, you’ll find yourself in a comfy sleeping nook that sits right above the driver’s cab of the truck.
Walking even further “upstairs” out the back of the sleeping nook is an outdoor lounge area with a hammock. Perfect for mid-afternoon naps.
And if that wasn’t impressive enough, there is even a soaking tub on the roof to relax underneath the stars and take in the view.
The water is heated through solar panels on the roof of the ‘castle’ and truck.
A side view of the castle shows how the space is so perfectly used. Once inside, you’d never think this home was actually a truck.
Justin and Jola have truly created a whimsical masterpiece. It’s safe to say that their son Piko will have a lot of fun in this majestic home. Watch the video below for a full tour.
