When someone says “tiny house,” how do you picture it to be?
It’s totally understandable if you picture a box with all of the homely amenities cramped in. Maybe a one-person shower or a refrigerator that’s also a washing machine? A couch that becomes a bed that has a closet underneath?

But not all tiny houses are like these. Some can let you live in relative luxury while also being debt-free. It’s a different kind of comfort without mortgage fees.
Kay and her family have been living the RV life.
In a video by Tiny Home Tours, Kay gave a short tour of her property and the amenities they’re enjoying despite the size of the house.
One of the first things you’ll notice is the size of the RV. The unit can be expanded where parts of the vehicle can be pulled out into separate areas or rooms.
The RV has a spacious kitchen.
Have you ever seen a tiny house with a kitchen island? Kay has that and she’s loving it. The island has a sink that you can cover just in case you need extra counter space.
The kitchen is also equipped with a stove, oven, microwave oven, and a double-door refrigerator. Coupled with ample storage and cupboards, Kay shared that they could buy groceries in bulk which reduced going back and forth to the store.
Right in front of the kitchen area is their dining booth.
The dining booth also serves as Aiden’s classroom as he is under self-directed learning. The surface area gives more than enough space for a family of three to enjoy home-cooked meals.
Beside the dining area are reclining chairs and a couch. The living room is also equipped with a flat-screen TV and an electronic fireplace.
Kay shared it was the place where they’d spend a lot of quality family time like watching movies or TV shows on Netflix.
Aiden’s room is a small cubicle.
The room has more than enough space for his bed that turns into a couch and closet space where he keeps his books and worksheets, clothes, and even costumes.
His room also has a space right on top of it that’s perfect for sleepovers. The small space is enough for a king-size mat where Aiden can sleep with his friends.
Speaking of king-sized beds, Kay and her husband have one in their room too.
People may associate RV houses with cramped spaces so beds of this size are usually unheard of. Kay also says Aiden comes and hangs out with them in their room every now and then so having a big bed is great.
They also have a large shower area that their whole family can fit in! They also have space for laundry machines so they could wash their clothes whenever, wherever.
Kay dreamed to live an intentional and independent life.
While her husband was averse to the idea at first, they both agreed that it was the best decision they’d made. So far, they’ve paid around $20,000 off their debts.
