Many people dream of stardom and singing on a stage in front of adoring fans. But not many folks get the chance to follow that dream and perform on the big stage.

For Michael Bublé, the dreams of fame and fortune as a singer started when he was two-years-old. Bublé has never forgotten what it’s like to dream and he’s made that dream a reality for a young lady in the audience. In this video, he gets down off the stage in front of the crowd and hands her the mic. It’s a once in a lifetime experience. Can she catch that rising star?

Micheal Bublé says he slept with a Bible when he was a teenager, praying that one day he’ll make it big. It was his grandfather’s jazz record collection that gave him the love of singing. And specifically, when was five years old he heard Bing Crosby singing “White Christmas” and he found his voice.

Bublé first took the stage when his grandfather, a plumber paid for singing lessons. Grandfather traded plumbing work for stage time for his grandson. Bublé began singing on the nightclub stage when he was 16.

On a very special night in Hartford, Connecticut the crowd was roaring to hear Bublé perform at the sold-out XL Center. Bublé looked out at the crowd and saw a young lady holding up a sign that said, “Let Me Sing With You Mr. Bublé!” Bublé must have wondered if she was any good and he figured he should give her a shot.

He hopped down into the crowd and found the young lady. She was visibly nervous as anyone would be. Bublé and the crowd must have wondered if she could keep her voice under such immense pressure.

Chelsea Hebert, just like Bublé has always had a dream to be a singer. She has also had a unique dream of singing with him on stage. She even told a friend.

“I would tell my best friend Olivia all the time that I was going to sing on stage with (Michael Bublé),” Hebert said. “It’s always been such a dream of mine.”

She was prepared when Bublé pulled her out of the audience and let her pick the song.

Chelsea had been working that week on Nina Simone’s hit song, “Feeling Good.” Bublé covered this song on his second studio album “It’s Time.” Chelsea had been practicing this one just in case her dream that night came true.

When she requested to sing that one Bublé obliged her. Now was her big chance.

Even the security guard at the front of the stage had to control himself from turning to look at Chelsea when he heard her voice. He struggles to keep his composure, he really wants to look.

Even without turning his head, he knows that something special is happening.

Chelsea says that the moment she was pulled out of the audience the rest of the night was a blur.

“I don’t even remember going up there,” Hebert said.

Having fulfilled a dream to sing with one of the best was an emotional and physical high that lasted for weeks. She couldn’t believe she did it, let alone did it with style.
