Spring is the season for rebirth after a long cold winter. This makes it the perfect time to refresh your home decor.
Pops of colors, texture, and other mediums can really help make your house say “it’s spring!”
The folks over at Kelleynan gave us a room by room tour of their spring house makeover.
Here are spring decor ideas for every room in your house:
Front Porch
Use a planter on each side of your door to add some greenery. You can spruce up your planters with a coat of metallic spray paint to make them look higher end. Add a wreath on your door to bring color to your doorstep.
Dining Room
Minimalism is the name of the game. The furniture and decor that is included in your dining room space should have neutral colors, like whites, beiges, and light blues along with crystal, mirrors, glass, or metallic pieces.
Living Room
The cool color and minimalist look should be carried through to the living room. New pillows are a great way to change the look of your room without spending a lot of money. Groups several small and medium-sized mirrors to create an awesome focal point wall. You can paint them a variety of different colored metallic spraypaints on them like gold, rose gold, pewter, and pearl.
Kitchen
A spring makeover for your kitchen doesn’t have to be expensive. You can switch out or reupholster kitchen chairs. You can add a new backsplash with peel and stick tiles, and even paint your cabinets. Switch out your old heavy lighting fixtures for glass geometric patterns.
Breakfast Nook
Turn your tiny side table into an official “breakfast nook” by adding a textured lighting fixture above it, like this beaded chandelier. This will also help bring more light into the space. Use white vases and fresh flowers to bring color and life into your space.
The Office
The office is another place where you can switch out a pillow. Flowers are a great way to enliven your workspace. Wicker accessories can also help give your space an outdoorsy feel. Use teacups to bring color into your space and organize your office supplies.

Master Bedroom
Switch out your textiles for lighter fabrics. This can also completely change the color of your room. You can also get a new lampshade or a new lamp. Use shiny, reflective, or sparkly accents to bring some whimsy to your space.
Throughout The Home
White. Fill your space with lots of white or soft colors. Mix this with crystal, glass, and metallics. Get rid of clutter where you can.
