Believe it or not, your home is teeming with dust, bacteria, and even dead bugs. The floors and walls may appear clean, but have you checked those sneaky cracks and corners lurking behind furniture? Though you may be appalled by how much dirt lives in your house, worry no more because these hacks will make your living space squeaky clean again.
Air conditioning vents
Cover a knife with a towel soaked in cleaner and run it through the air vents.
Small spaces in the shower
Mix lemon juice and baking soda and apply it to dirty spots. Let sit for five minutes and dry with a toothbrush or stiff brush.
Your keyboard
Lots of dust can collect in the small spaces between the keys. Take an adhesive paper or sticky side of a Post-It and run it between the keys. You’ll be amazed by how much dust is collected this way.
Hard-to-reach places in the car
To get those tiny cracks and vents, take a cotton swab soaked with rubbing alcohol or cleaner and dig in.
Vacuuming window frames and small spaces
Can’t fit the suction tube of your vacuum cleaner into those nooks? Attach a toilet paper tube to the end of the suction tube; that way, you can mold the toilet paper tube to fit small spaces, such as window frames.

The faucet
Your faucet will get dirty from hard water deposits. Make your faucet bright and shiny again by rubbing away residue with an old toothbrush and baking soda.
Remove dust from your mattress
Sprinkle baking soda on your mattress and wait 10 minutes. Then, vacuum it up.

Fill your sink with warm water and soap. Then, place your knife block in it. Let it sit for 10 minutes and scrub it clean with a sponge.
Cleaning shower curtains

Blinds
Dust will build up on blinds over time. Wrap a damp cloth on a pair of tongs (one on each tong) and wipe your blinds clean.
