Nothing is really impossible when you badly want to achieve something. Especially if you will work hard for it.
This mom from Halewood, Liverpool had no experience in DIY nor remodeling houses. Despite this fact, she was able to transform her three-bed semi into her dream home.
This might sound far-fetched but wait until you hear her whole story.
The 42-year-old mother namely Lyndsey Gynane shared everything about her renovated house and her journey with her family is very inspiring.
In 2018, she and her husband bought a three-bedroom house for £170,000. To be able to purchase your own home is already an achievement.
But this mom had a bigger goal out of it.
She knew that they deserve more than that and they had to take action to achieve their dream house – which they did.
“We wanted to make it all open and renovate each bedroom and make it into a family home. We’d not renovated before, it was our first time doing it but with the vision we had we knew we could make it into more than a three-bed semi.
The couple made their vision happen. They have given the house with huge and beautiful changes.
They even shared lots of photos on Instagram and there you’ll see how they gave their home such a vast make-over.
That’s why £110,000 has been added to the value of their house. Fair enough!
Look at that living room!
The house was pretty plain when they bought it and it’s really impressive how they turned everything into something that looks expensive. Because of its posh look, lots of people thought that it’s a costly property.
“People look at it on Instagram and think it’s half a million pound house, but it’s not, it’s just a three bed semi in Liverpool.”
They really worked hard to give it a modern transformation starting off from its exterior. Lyndsey also replaced the old fireplace. She turned it into a new modern electric working fire.
From three bedrooms, the house already has fancy spots such as a large spa-style bathroom and a classy kitchen.
The bathroom looks relaxing!
With these utmost changes, it’s no wonder why Lyndsey’s Instagram account has gained 176,000 followers.
But for her, everything still feels surreal.
“It’s just gone crazy, it’s a little bit mental. People are following to see how we’ve done it, what we’ve done and also for inspiration,” she told Liverpool Echo.
She has been sharing photos of her renovated house for a touching reason.
She wants to inspire other people especially those who are also interested to renovate their homes.
“Many tell me ‘I didn’t realize how you can transform an old house’, so I just give little bits of advice and stuff. While we have hired people to do the major renovations, I’ve done most of it myself, all the decor is done by me.”
If Lyndsey was able to nail it, for sure, you can too. Like what she did, you just have to believe, have a vision, work for it to make it happen.
Once again, nothing is impossible. You just need to trust in what you are capable of.
