When it comes to houses, there are plenty of words to describe their locations: hilltop, beachfront, lakeside, oceanside, etc
How about fairytale?
Well, for one house, that is an accurate description.
Zyl Vardos, which is based in Olympia, WA, specializes in creating small living spaces. They have just released the newest addition to their range, the Moon Dragon. With a name fitting of any fable, this whimsical abode captures the imagination of everyone who notices it.
Measuring 13 x 9 x 24 feet, the Moon Dragon consists of two main areas: the main living quarters (9 x 24 ft) and the loft (9 x 13 ft). It features a standard power hookup system so that it utilize the grid power. However, it also includes a solar kit (well, Tinkerbell would call it pixie power) thus to operate off-the-grid (aka Middle-Earth) if preferred.
Now, as impressed as you may be after seeing the Onduvilla clad exterior, only by entering through the hand-built European doors will you be able to experience the true magic. The hand-made walls and fixtures are made from mahogany ply. The floor is cork and the ceiling comprises cedar tongue and groove.
The kitchen includes laminated oak counters and a range cooking stove (five burners and two ovens). The Moon Dragon also includes a fridge and a small pantry, and lots of space to add your magical decorative creations. All you need to enjoy your magic meals of Neverland
The Moon Dragon is also equipped with an all-inclusive bathroom and has installed a washing machine for convenience.
In what can only be described as mastering the near-impossible task of creating an illusion of space in a tiny area (with the help of spells and charms, of course), the Moon Dragon utilizes the staircase for storage space. The staircase itself is measured by the four steps transporting you to the magical loft.
The entrance to the loft is met by two large closets, beyond which you will notice the space you need to sleep two people. Hidden in the corner of the room is a small split-window fitting. You can wake up to the beautiful scenery around you by peeking through the (looking) glass.
Now, you won’t have to sell poisoned apples to queens-dressed-as-old-hangs in order to afford it. The house is valued at $96,000USD.
