There has been a constant call and challenge the past decade to take care of the environment and produce less waste. Unfortunately, it’s not as easy as it sounds, especially when the alternative is nonexistent, inconvenient or more expensive.
But there is a solution to this dilemma. Reuse the items!

Follow these 30 simple solutions other people have made that you can create in your home. You can even make this a family affair and get the entire family to help.
1. Cart chair
We won’t ask how you got the grocery cart but we know it’s hard to find the perfect storage for it. Why not make it useful? Turn it into a lounge chair! And since it has wheels, it’s easy to move around, too.
2. Can grill
Want to barbeque or cook outside but don’t have a barbeque grill set up? Get a can, foil, charcoal, and a wire rack to create a DIy grill!
3. Liquor lights
You’ve got a lot of liquor bottles lying around because you planned to do something about it. But you never got around to doing it. Create dim lights and place it in your dining room or kitchen.
4. Bookcase ladder
Have you got so many books and not enough bookshelves? Simple. Get a folding ladder, clean it up, and hang it up on your wall. Instant book shelf!
5. Grater lights
Have too many graters you don’t need? Turn them into a dining table chandelier.
6. Racket mirror
Place a mirror in your old rackets and hang it up. The best part, you can move them around easily, depending on where you want them to be placed.
7. Creative spoons
If you have too many spoons and you want to be creative, turn them into lights. You’ll need a lot of spoons with this one and be a bit more savvy with electric tools.
8. Flashlight hack
Need a flashlight but can’t find yours? Or maybe the batteries are dead and you need one right now. No problem. Just use your phone and a styro cup and you’ll get a very bright flashlight.
9. Cord organizer
Don’t you just hate it when all your cords are disorganized and all over the place? Use toilet paper tubes to keep them organized.
10. Tire garden
Old tires are hard to get rid of since not a lot of places will accept it. Or maybe you really just want to do a creative project with the tires. Here’s a good one. Turn them into a flower pot!
11. Butter phone dish
Need a butter dish? Your iPhone carrier is the perfect container for it!
12. Candle funnels
Have funnels that you can’t use with food but don’t want to throw away? Turn them into candle holders. They’re functional and they look good at the same time.
13. Freezer shelves
These magazine holders can do more than just hold magazines. They can help you organize your freezer!
14. Swiffer socks
Have you run out of Swiffer cleaning pads? Use old socks as cleaning pads and you protect the Swiffer at the same time.
15. Shoe bag
Traveling with shoes but no shoe bag? Use a shower cap to protect your clothes from your dirty shoes.
16. CD dish rack
Everything’s gone digital now. So there’s no need for CD racks anymore, right? Yes there is! You can use them as a dish rack. Who knew?

Instead of throwing out the honey jar, use them as flower vase. You can decorate them anyway you want, like turning it into a gold leaf jar.
18. Honey jar sippy cup
Or you can turn the honey jar into a fun sippy cup for your baby. It’s like having a stuffed toy and drinking glass for your baby.
19. Bird feed
You can use the toilet paper tubes with this one, too. Smear peanut butter and then roll it across bird seeds. Hang outside where the birds can clearly see it.
20. Shoe organizer
Don’t want your shoes piled up on top of each other? Use letter organizers to organize your shoes in your closet.
21. Cereal box organizer
Don’t have any of those letter organizers to actually organize your letters or magazines? Use cereal boxes instead! Cut off the boxes and wrap it with colorful paper. Add labels to organize them.
22. Coat rack post
You upgraded your porch and have no use for the former posts. Or maybe you found these in the streets, thinking you can do something with it. Well, this is one idea. Stick hooks and turn it into a coat rack.
