Nature is truly amazing, don’t you agree?

If you take time and appreciate nature’s beauty, power, and wrath, you’d be in awe.

Even in her fiercest, she can still create something so stunning.

Something that will take your breath away.

They posted one of these amazing creations a few days ago.

At first look, you’d think that you’ve entered some sort of art exhibition, a movie set, and even an out-of-this-world setting.

This breathtaking phenomenon was created along the shores of Lake Erie just over the weekend when a strong blizzard, along with howling winds and freezing temperatures affected the area.

What causes a blizzard to form?

For a blizzard to form, three important things should come together.

First would be the cold air, then moisture, and warm rising air.

There are also cases where blizzards are formed because of the strong winds that pick up snow that has already fallen.

Though, the ground must be equally freezing, if not, the snow would just melt.

Blizzards are also very dangerous.

The Lakefront homes in Hamburg, New York, which is located just around 12 miles south of Buffalo experienced a very strong blizzard that made it look like their homes were transformed into ice sculptures, or were trapped in a spell of a famous Disney character.

In the drone video, you will be shocked to see the vast effects of the blizzard.

You wouldn’t even think people lived there. Icicles filled the town, they filled the roofs, fences, the pieces of furniture outside, and even the big trees.

It covered the entire town with thick layers of ice.

The place seemed gloomy and somewhat eerie, yet you can’t help but be mesmerized by its beauty.

According to a weather station just near Watertown, New York, they recorded that the wind gusts went over 60 MPH last Friday.

The intense gush of wind, with the below-freezing temperature, created the ice sculpture that looked like a CGI setting for a movie.

The terrifying blizzard started as rain in Buffalo, then the arctic air directed into the said area, causing the mix of below-freezing rain and wind to form the blizzard.

As the winter storm became stronger, the huge waves affected Western New York.

This caused Lake Erie to spray its waters on the nearby establishments, including homes, trees, roads, and everything in sight.

Because of the below-freezing temperature, it didn’t take too long for the water to instantly freeze, causing the long and scary icicles that enveloped the town.

Some icicles, instead of pointing down, were seen angled towards where the wind blew.

This added to the beauty of ice sculptures.

Houses became ice castles, some trees even looked like giant monsters as the blizzard covered them with thick eyes, and their leaves were no longer visible.

The entire road was white, the skies were gray.

As the video progressed, you’d feel that it transported you to another world.

Sadly, reports said there were many casualties in the said blizzard, the total number hasn’t been finalized yet.

Watch the impressive footage below.

Though, we hope everyone could clear the town so the people could come back safely.
