From storing grains to storing memories. Sitting on a very vast 25-acre of land in Lake City, Florida, is a very old grain silo transformed into a beautiful tiny home.
For those of you who don’t know, a silo is a tower, mostly seen on a farm, that is used for storing grains. But in this case, the tower had been transformed into a 454-square-foot home with a wrap-around deck.
Upon entering the house, the first thing you’ll see is its beautiful kitchen along with its wooden cabinets and its wooden ceiling. Complete with a fully functioning sink and fridge, this kitchen also has a window beside the sink that shows the beautiful view of the vast 25-acre land.
The beautiful view can make anyone stay in the kitchen for quite a while.
Beside the kitchen is the bathroom. Even the bathroom’s design has the same vibe as the kitchen. It also has wooden walls and wooden cabinets for storage. Equipped with a steel shower along with stone flooring, taking a bath here would only be refreshing to the skin, but also refreshing to the eyes.
Upstairs is where the living room is located. It mostly takes up the whole circular room that is modernized by a distinct metal ceiling. Several windows were also added to somewhat make it look larger and to soak in the b breathtaking scenery outside.
The walls and the ceiling are still a combination of wood and metal like the other rooms and with windows. It has one air conditioning unit, two couches, four chairs, and a small round table in the middle.
Many activities can be done in this room with this kind of interior design. From playing board games to studying for exams, this place is perfect for those.
This home also has a balcony with furniture for those who are in the mood for some fresh air. There is no need to find a good and comfortable spot for the beautiful scenery because every view is breathtaking,
The scenery outside is just so beautiful that it can make you forget about work and schooling.
This 25-acre property also comes with a riding trail and a 7,000-feet “no-climb” horse fence. Definitely perfect for people who want to be surrounded by nature while maintaining privacy.
