Dryer sheets are always in stock in my household. They are a great way to soften fabrics while doing laundry, not to mention they make clothes smell amazing!
Recently, I learned there are unexpected uses for dryer sheets that most people are not aware of. In fact, dryer sheets are far more useful than their name implies. They can help in all different facets of life.
Stainless Steel Stains
If you have stainless steel appliances around the house, then you know how easily you can “stain” them. It’s really easy for our fingerprints to leave a smudge or mark. Fortunately, you can use a dryer sheet to remove them completely. It’s that easy!
Smell Fresh On Vacation
If you’re planning on going on a family vacation, then pay attention to this tip. Keep a dryer sheet in your suitcase to keep the clothes in your suitcase smelling fresh.
Deodorant Marks
If your deodorant leaves unwanted marks on your clothing, grab a dryer sheet and rub them off easily.
Dust Bunny Remover
Use a dryer sheet to do a quick dusting and eliminate those annoying dust bunnies.

After baking or cooking, your dishes might be extra grimy and greasy. Soaking them in water overnight sometimes won’t be enough. You’ll still have to scrub extra hard just to clean it.
Instead, fill your dish with hot water and lay a dryer sheet on top. Let this sit overnight. In the morning, you can clean it a lot more easily.
Stains On Shower
If you have soapy film on your shower doors, then use a dryer sheet to remove it. Wet a dryer sheet and then scrub the door. The dryer sheet will do a lot of the work for you.
Vacuum Fresh
Keep a dryer sheet in your vacuum bag to ensure that your home smells great while you vacuum.
Bug Stains On Windshield
Remove bug stains on your car windshield after a long road trip by using a dryer sheet. Spray a little bit of water on your windshield and use a dryer sheet to wipe. It’s really effective!
