Inside, the home has a traditional English interior featuring simple decor with bright pops of color.
Located on Little Scarlet’s first floor, you’ll find the welcoming and warm living room. Featuring a long comfy sofa, armchair, and coffee table – what more do you really need? Pieces of the home’s historic structure still remain, like the wood beams and natural stonework on the walls.
Just past the living room is the bright kitchen with seafoam green cabinetry and natural wood countertops.
Although most guests only stay for a weekend or so, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook a gourmet meal. There is plenty of counter space to prep food, a deep-basin farmhouse sink, and a stove range with oven.
Little Scarlet has two dining areas – first, the small dining nook just off the kitchen.

The second of the two dining areas is located in an absolutely dreamy private courtyard.

By far the most impressive room in the house, upstairs you’ll find the absurdly glorious bathroom.
“Occupying the entire second floor is the cottage’s pièce de résistance, two crimson red slipper baths poised in the middle of the bathroom just calling for the company of chilled Champagne and an evening in a haze of bubbles.”
The bathroom features two tubs, his and her sinks, a towel warmer, and a large woodburning fireplace. Although there is not a shower, one of the slipper tubs does have a hand-held showerhead.
“The shamelessly romantic master bedroom with super king-size bed nestles in the eaves at the top of the cottage, like a well-kept secret,” the listing says.
Imagine resting your head at night in this cozy, elegant king-sized bed with the windows open, letting in a cool breeze. Gorgeous original wood beams can also be seen in this room, located on the very top floor of the structure.
