Unfortunately for us, we still need to keep the house clean, and that means from top to bottom in each and every room.
And that’s not exactly a job for the faint of heart, nor is it a job that anyone enjoys doing. Chores are boring!
But there are ways around that boredom.
1. Toilet tank
To clean the toilet from the inside, grab some Fabuloso and poke some holes on the bottle then place the bottle inside the tank.
It will release in the tank and help clean your toilet from the inside.
2. Easy air freshener
Now grab a spray bottle and fill it with three quarters of water and a cap full of Downy.
Close the lid and give it a little shake to come up with a nice air freshener that you can use anywhere in your home.
3. Pretty up the air inside
In a small bowl, add some vanilla extract and water, then place the bowl on a baking sheet.
Pop it in an oven for 30 minutes with the heat on 350 degrees.
That will allow the vanilla extract’s aroma to fill your home, keeping it smelling fresh all day.
4. Sweeping hacks
If you are to sweep the floor, go ahead and gather them in a spot then use a paper towel soaked with some water to pick them up and to wipe up the remaining debris.
For a dustpan, spray some water on it before sweeping the debris on the dustpan to make them stick on the pan.
For stubborn debris on the corner of your walls, wear rubber gloves and spray some water on them so you can run your hand along the corners and gather up all the dirt.
5. There’s more to that mop
With a swiffer mop, grab a fuzzy sock and wrap it around the head, then just mop the floor again and again.
You can also soak the sock with water so it cleans up the floor better.
6. Sparkly tiles once more
For tile floors, grab a bucket and pour one part of vinegar and nine parts water.
Use the mixture to scrub the tiles then mop it up with warm water.
7. Those pink toilet stains
You’ll just need hydrogen peroxide which you’ll pour into the toilet and let sit for awhile.
Use a toilet brush to scrub the stains off then just flush once you’re done.
8. That leaky toilet smell
Grab shaving cream and spray it along the crease of your toilet.
Do remember to wear rubber gloves since you will have to spread out the shaving cream to make sure it covers the entire crease.
You don’t want any small openings down there.
Let it sit for ten minutes and that will eliminate that leaking smell from the bottom of your toilet.
