One viral video has brought joy to the internet as it features Doc, an energetic Border Collie living on a cattle farm in Dandridge, Tennessee, showcasing his herding skills in an unexpected way.

The clip reveals Doc doing what Border Collies do best—herding sheep—but with a twist that left his owner and viewers amused.
Border Collies are known for their intelligence, high energy, and impeccable herding skills.

Their athleticism and agility have made them excellent at tending to livestock, as evidenced by Doc’s instincts, even in a less-than-usual situation.
In the video, which was posted online by Hodge Cattle Co, Doc’s owner shared the entertaining story of how the pup took matters into his own paws.
While his owner was out running errands, Doc managed to escape the house and take control of a herd of sheep.
What made the scene truly comical was that instead of leading the sheep to the pasture, Doc herded them right to the front door of the house.
Doc’s owner later revealed the details of this spontaneous adventure.
They explained that Doc had taken the sheep all by himself, bringing them to the front porch as if it were the most natural thing to do.
In true herding dog fashion, Doc made sure none of the sheep wandered off, pacing back and forth and nudging them back into the group whenever one of them tried to break free.
It’s like he wanted to bring the party home.
Amusingly, some of the sheep did attempt to escape from the herd, but Doc’s natural instincts kicked in, and he quickly chased them back to their makeshift gathering spot.
A text overlay in the video humorously reads, “Good boy Doc??” as the dog continued to maintain his self-appointed role, corralling the sheep right at the doorstep.
In a delightful turn of events, the entire herd made a break for it, charging past Doc as he tried to keep up.
According to Doc’s owner, the sheep had initially been enclosed but managed to get under the fence, thanks to Doc’s unrelenting efforts.
