Everyone has experienced a problem that may not seem like a big deal in the scheme of things but can be so frustrating and upsetting when it happens that it can ruin the entire day. Even though you know you aren’t the only person dealing with these kinds of problems, it doesn’t make them any easier to deal with.

Instead of sweating the small stuff, why not just focus on tackling these problems as they occur. Here are some tips to help you deal with all those little frustrating and awkward moments that pop up during the day.

Underwear Lines and Muffin Top In Leggings

Leggings are meant to be comfortable and flattering. The last thing you want to happen when you put them on is to look frumpy. Underwear can make leggings look bad, and no matter how fit you are, they can show off all your flaws. If you want to smooth those lines, simply use an old pair of tights. Here’s how to do it.

Step 1: Find an old pair of tights and cut off the legs. They should look like a pair of shorts when you are finished.

Step 2: Slip the tights on over your underwear but under your leggings. You can pull the top up as far as you want or need to hide your bulge or muffin top. The tights will give you a sleek appearance and make your leggings more flattering.

Tights Slipping Down

Sometimes tights aren’t the answer but the problem. If you have ever worn a pair of tights that just keep falling down on you, you know the feeling. Instead of yanking and tugging on them all day, just slip a pair of panties on over top of them. The panties will help hold up your tights, and you can go about your business without any problems.

Pants Too Tight In the Crotch

Nobody wants to show off that part of the body, and when you put on tight pants, it seems to happen a lot. You can fix the problem by putting a panty liner on the inside front of your underwear horizontally. The panty liner blocks the crotch and prevents pants from sticking to your body. The panty liner won’t be noticeable or bulky, so you will still look great in those skinny pants.

Falling Bra Straps

Few things are as frustrating as bra straps that won’t stay up. They fall down on your shoulders and look unsightly, and it’s just impossible to keep them up sometimes. Sewing a small loop that snaps closed on the inside of your shirt can fix that problem. When your straps start to fall, just snap them in the loop, and your shirt will help keep them up.

Chafing Thighs

Not only are chafing thighs frustrating, they are painful. Wearing a skirt or shorts all day that allows your thighs to rub together can cause them to chafe. The more you move or walk, the worse it gets. It can be so painful that you don’t want to move around at all.

The easiest way to fix it is to put a little deodorant on them. The deodorant will soothe the skin and act as a lubricant that helps stop friction and prevent chafing.

You can’t avoid all these problems, but you can fix them if they occur.

Knowing how to handle them quickly makes them a little less awkward and frustrating. These aren’t the only problems you probably encounter on a daily basis, but that doesn’t mean you can’t find simple solutions to all the other issues, as well. Just stay calm and use your head, and you can figure out how to overcome anything life throws at you.
