Most people have dream houses in mind. Some want to own a really big house in the city while others prefer to have their property built near a farm or by the sea. There are people who simply want a house that fits their budget.

Cera and Oliver were able to purchase a large house in town.

At first, they thought it was the best decision they’ve made. However, it didn’t take them long enough to figure out that maintaining a home like that can affect not just their finances but their quality of life, too.

Knowing they had to do something about their situation, the couple decided to downsize.

It wasn’t an easy decision to make. However, since Oliver had a solid background in construction, they figured it could help make the process easier. Plus, Cera has really good eyes when it comes to designing.

They created the best plan for them.

With Oliver’s skills and Cera’s creativity, they started planning their dream tiny home. They patterned it after their original house- except for the size. The shape, color, and built are the same.

The couple was extra careful in planning every single detail of the tiny home.

It’s made to be off-the-grid. They use solar power to get the energy they need to power up their home. They installed three panels on the roof and another one on the ground. And since it’s off-the-grid, the couple has more freedom when it comes to parking.

They gave their tiny home a big house appearance.

To achieve that, they used dual dormers and mixed cladding materials. They didn’t just make the house look bigger but they also gave it that heritage look.

The interior of the house is far from boring.

It’s actually charming. It has a good number of windows to allow sufficient light in. In total, the tiny home has about 15 of them.

The house has everything the couple needs to live a comfortable life.

It has a full-sized couch, good-sized TV and a tiny desk where they can eat and work. The kitchen has a full-sized farm sink. It’s also complete with a stove, full-sized refrigerator, and lots of storage spaces.

The couple picked the perfect colors for their tiny home.

Wanting to make it feel bigger and a lot brighter, they used light colors. There’s light blue, white, and natural wood.

Even their bathroom was perfect!

One of the most common problems with tiny homes is the bathroom. With not much space, you don’t get to see a lot of them with showers.

With careful planning, the couple was able to install not just a shower but a tiny clawfoot tub, too! It has a good-sized sink and a vanity. There’s also enough space for their sheets!

Their bedroom features a massive bed.

And that’s not the most exciting part. If you look up, you’ll see a really nice skylight window!

Plus, there are also windows on each side of the bed for ventilation. And when it gets hot, they have an air conditioning unit they could use.

The couple has lived in their tiny but beautiful house for more than two years.

And they never regretted the decision to downsize. It’s probably a dream to live in that place.
