Walking into this Toronto home, you’d think it was a TV show or movie set from the 1950’s.

A 96-year-old Toronto woman put her home that she’s been living in for 72 years up for sale. What no one knew was that she kept the home in its original and pristine condition – every aspect of the home was essentially trapped in a 1950’s time capsule.

From the outside, the house is modest and unassuming.

The 96-year-old woman who owned the home was a seamstress and knitter. It’s obvious that she also had quite a knack for interior decorating back in the day as well. Check out the velvet armchair and vintage sofa.
