When you see that iconic yellow and blue can, you automatically think of using WD-40 to protect metal from rust or making stuck things unstuck. However, WD-40 can be used to remove grease and grime, get crayon off the walls, and even get gum out of hair.

There are lots of ways WD-40 can be used around the home. Here are some of the most useful WD-40 hacks.

1) Splinter Free Wooden Handles

When your tools get older sometimes they can splinter off. To prevent your hands from getting pricked just rub a WD-40 into the wood. It will protect the handle from rotting and splintering.
