Cut Off Your Split Ends

Getting a trim every so often will prevent your split ends from spreading up your strands. The more you stay on top of your split ends, the less you’ll have to get cut off when you go for a haircut.

It’s best to get rid of about an eighth of an inch every 10 to 12 weeks to prevent split ends before they start.

Rub Oils On It

Castor oil is rich in vitamin E and other essential fatty acids, like omega-9, which naturally promotes hair growth. You can mix some castor oil with equal parts of coconut, olive or almond oil and massage your scalp with it. Leave it on for 30 to 45 minutes then shampoo your hair to help grow out your locks.

Massage Your Scalp

You can stimulate your hair follicles by massaging your scalp to promote blood flow. When doing your oil treatment, make sure you rub your fingers in a circular motion on your scalp for three to five minutes.
