Over the years our cabinets can become filled with lots of prescription bottles that we no longer need. But these things can be pretty handy around the house. So you might want to think twice before you toss them out.

1) Portable Sewing Kit
Turn a medicine bottle into a portable sewing kit. Fill the bottle with needles, thread, and some buttons. Fill a piece of fabric with some stuffing and glue it to the top of the bottle cap to serve as a pin cushion.
2) Makeup Brush Holder
Use an old pill bottle to hold makeup brushes. Just pop them in upright. You an also decorate it to look a little nicer.
3) Gift Box
You can make customized gift boxes from pill bottles. Paint them, use washi tape, and all other sorts of things to make them look pretty. You can keep earrings or small jewelry in them or give them as gifts.
4) Bobby Pin Caddy
There are probably sprawled out all around your home right now. Stop your bobby pins from going everywhere. Keep them in a pill bottle.
