Cream of tartar can be found in most spice cabinets. It’s mainly used for stabilizing egg whites while whipping them, but it can also be used in baking since it helps activate the alkaline baking soda.
Unknown to most, cream of tartar is a very powerful cleaning agent, and it can make cleaning around the house a whole lot easier.
