Laundry is one of those tasks that many of us don’t exactly enjoy doing, but we have to do it. It’s time-consuming and monotonous, and I personally just try to get through with it as quickly as possible.

One important aspect of laundry is the dryer, which is a very handy appliance when used properly, but when it takes multiple dryer cycles to dry your clothes, then it can make laundry so much more frustrating.

In the video below, you will learn an important tip that can save you a lot of money. The lint filter is an important part of every dryer, and it’s important to clean it out before every cycle. But even though you might have removed the lint on the filter, it’s not a guarantee that your filter is actually clean.

By following the quick tip presented in the video below, you will completely clean the lint filter, and as a result, your dryer will work faster and more efficiently.

First, take the lint filter out the dryer and take it to the sink. Then, turn on the water and see if the water pours through the lint filter. For many of us, it won’t pour through like it should, which is a sign that the filter isn’t clean even though it may look like it. This happens because fabric softener builds up on the filter over time, and it blocks the dryer’s air flow. This can actually damage your dryer over time.

To solve this problem, use a normal brush and scrub/wipe the filter clean. Seconds later, the water will drip right through the filter. It’s that easy!
