Having a cordless drill is probably one of the most useful tools that you could have in your home. You can use it to build all sorts of things that require screws, you can drill holes to put screws in, and fulfill all of your other drilling needs.

You can turn your drill into a variety of other tools.

An electric drill can be transformed into a vacuum, a mixer, a circle maker, peeler, and an electric scrubber. Is your mind blown right now? Not convinced? We’ll show you how below.

DIY Vacuum

Take a mini fan, perhaps a computer fan, and use the piece of a fan with spokes. Take this piece and glue a bolt to the fan piece. Make sure you place the bolt on the side of the fan that will blow air toward the drill instead of away from the drill. Cut a soda bottle in half and then toss the bottom out. Place the top of the bottle over your fan. When you turn the drill on you can use the bottle to suck stuff up like a vacuum. You can add a tube to the bottle’s nozzle to create an attachment.

Mixer

Place a scissor inside your drill so that the finger holes are pointing away from the drill. When you turn the drill on you can use the end of your scissor as a mixer to mix things like paint up. You can also use a spoon instead of a scissor for this hack if you can get it to fit into the drill.

Circle Maker

Bend the end of a straight wire so that you can fit it into your drill. Curve the wire at a 90-degree angle. Bend the end into a circle that fits around a pencil. When you turn your drill on you can use it to draw a perfect circle.
