With tiny homes becoming more and more common by the day, finding one that’s truly unique is an increasing challenge.

But one man, who works as a custom designer and builder at CoMak Tiny Homes in PA, created something that you can’t help but stop and stare at – and just wait until you see the inside…

It’ll set you back $35,000, which is a relatively low price to pay to live debt-free for the foreseeable future.

The builder of this tiny home, known as makdatty on Reddit, explained his building process for the home, and all the details about the design that you’d want to know.

In terms of dimensions, with the overhang and bumpout the home is 18 inches long. The trailer is 13 x 8 inches, plus the tongue. The height is 13.6 inches.

In short – this isn’t the biggest home out there, even by tiny home standards!

But looking at the photos of this property, there’s nothing cramped or claustrophobic about the home on the inside.

Entering into the home, there’s a kitchen and living area with pale wood flooring, dark wood counters and a dark wood table.

With big windows framing either side of the room, there’s plenty of light to brighten up the space.

If you’re a fan of cooking, this might not be the best tiny home for you, as there isn’t much in the way of that.

There’s a tiny fridge for storing items, but nowhere to heat up foods.

When asked if the home was more of a guest house because of its lack of a full kitchen, the home’s builder explained that he intended it to be “whatever you want it to be”. He added:

“I think certain people/minimalists could make do living in a space like this but for most of us it might be a vacation or guest quarters.”

But the most important rooms, the bedroom and the bathroom, are fully equipped.

At the very back of the kitchen is a cedarwood area with a shower and a skylight. According to the builder, he’s a big fan of outdoor showers, and that’s where the inspiration came from for an open bathroom.

Like most tiny homes, this property has a composting toilet, which may be a little too close to the kitchen for some people’s liking.

But the builder did note that he’d install a door to separate the bathroom and the kitchen if that’s what his prospective buyer preferred.

The biggest selling point of this tiny home is, without a doubt, the loft bedroom.

If you’re not a fan of the typical tiny home loft space, this one might convince you to change your mind. It features a large skylight that spans across the entire length of the bed. Imagine lying beneath that, listening to the rain!

Most of us go back and forth between whether we think we can handle tiny home living, but this particular design makes it easy to imagine a much more minimalistic lifestyle.

Though having this little space isn’t for everyone, there’s plenty of appeal in a home like this.

It’s small and cozy, yet surprisingly spacious. The modern clean wood touches and the big windows help to make it feel like a truly trendy little hideout.
