The Vaayu Mudra position is known as the calmness position. To perform the position, place the tip of your index finger and the base of your thumb and then use your thumb to cover your index finger at the first phalangeal joint.

The Vaayu Mudra is known to great for decreasing air through your body, making you feel calm, suppressing the hormanal and nervous system, and reducing aggression and hyperactivity.

The Aaakash Mudra position is known as the lightness position. To perform the position, touch the tips of your middle finger and thumb together.

This position is known to be great for increasing space in your body, relieving your mind of worry, detoxifying your body from metabolic waste, and relieving congestion.

4. Shunya Mudra

The Shunya Mudra is known as the pain relief position. To perform the position, place the tip of your middle finger at the bottom of your thumb and then cover your middle finger with your thumb while gently pressing down.

This position is known to be great for decreasing the space within your body, helping relieve pain stemming from ear disorders such as nausea, and reducing numbness across the body.

5. Prithvi Mudra

The Prithvi Mudra is known as the strength position. To perform this position, touch the tips of your ring finger and thumb.

This position is known to be great for for increasing the earth while decreasing the fire within your body. What does that mean? Well, the earth element promotes tissue growth, muscle building and healing. This position is known to help relieve you of fatigue while also helping to regular your metabolic process and temperature!

6. Surya Mudra

The Surya Mudra is known as the weight loss position. To perform this position, place the tip of your ring finger at the bottom of your thumb and use your thumb to cover your ring finger.

This position is known to great for increasing the fire while decreasing the earth in your body. What does that mean? For those suffering from low body temperatures or shivering, this position is perfect for you. It can also help those suffering from weight gain, indigestion, loss of appetite, and vision problems.

7. Varun Mudra

The Varun Mudra is known as the moisturization position. To perform this position, touch the tips of your little finger and thumb.

This position is known to be great for increasing the water element in your body. What does that mean? It’ll help relieve pain that you’re feeling from your joints or from conditions such as arthritis. It’ll also help those suffering from hormone deficiency and dehydration.
