Get rid of pesky and annoying bugs with this easy-to-make trap. It requires materials you already have at home, so it’s minimal effort.

Materials

• Plastic soda bottle
• Scissors
• Tape
• 1 cup hot water
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 1 envelope active dry yeast

Directions

1. Cut the top off your soda bottle and remove the screw-on cap from the opening.
2. Place the brown sugar, yeast, and water inside the bottom part of the soda bottle. Stir.
3. Take the top part (that you cut off) and flip it over so it's like a funnel. Place inside the bottom part of the bottle and tape around the edges to secure.
