When you think of tiny home living, ‘luxury’ probably isn’t the first thing that comes to mind.
And it’s probably the last thing that comes to mind when you think of an RV.
Most people think tiny living equates to sacrifice. But that’s not always the case.
Especially if you’ve got yourself one of Land Ark RV’s mid-century model’s called “Draper.”
The RV’s design was inspired by extravagance and is named for Don Draper, Jon Hamm’s character in the AMC television series “Mad Men.”
Draper’s motto: “Make it simple, but significant.” And that’s exactly what Land Ark was going for with their design.
“Optimized for an individual or a couple, this mid-century modern design delivers a functional layout in a sophisticated package,” the company’s website says.
To start, the exterior has a sleek extended design. The black exterior matches the RV’s slick aesthetic.
The interior is filled with the gorgeous white pine which plays a deep contrast to the dark exterior.
The entry features a 7-foot wide wardrobe for storage.
There’s also a utility closet for the washer/dryer and a bench with cubbies.
A gallery with recessed lighting and clerestory windows brings you to an oak ladder that leads you to the sleeping loft.
The sleeping area is surrounded by large windows.
Below the sleeping area is the main living area.
This space is filled with natural light thanks to all the windows.
It opens up into a large galley kitchen with all the amenities you need.
A full-sized refrigerator, sink, stovetop, and an oven.
There is tons of counter space and lots of cabinets.
Above the sink is a hanging shelf for more counter space.
Beyond the refrigerator is a convertible U-sofa and a table.
The sofa converts into a queen-size bed for a guest.
This area can also be curtained off.
A sliding glass door across from the kitchen leads out to a large hardwood deck where you can entertain outdoors.
This deck can be folded up during transport.
There’s also a full-sized bathroom in this thing.
There’s a full-sized walk-in shower with recessed lighting and a window.
There is a beautiful vanity, sink, and mirror.
There is also a wall-hung toilet.
You can grab one now for $144,900.
