Patricia Lynn

You can skip the high price and nasty chemicals of store bought lotions. With only 3 simple ingredients, these lotions bars are a wonderful, all-natural way to keep your skin hydrated and happy all year round! All you’ll need is beeswax, coconut oil, and lavender! With such pure, natural ingredients, these bars are safe for even the most sensitive of skin types.

These bars are so easy to make that even your first batch is guaranteed to turn out great. You can even add a few drops of lavender essential oil for a calming, gentle scent the whole family will love. I love using it at bedtime, a perfect way to pamper myself after a long, hard day at the office.

Solid bars fit easily and conveniently into any purse, pocket, gym bag or nightstand, making them a perfect, no-mess, easy-to-carry alternative to traditional liquid moisturizers. With their elegant appearance and gentle calming fragrance, these bars also make a perfect gift for showers, weddings, or Mother’s Day.

  • 1 1/2 cups of Beeswax (grated or chopped)
  • 2 cups coconut oil
  • Dried lavender
  • Lavender essential oil (optional)

Grate beeswax and melt in pot or in a bowl in a pot of boiling water.

Once it has melted, remove the bowl from the heat and still in the coconut oil.

Sprinkle dried lavender into the bottoms of your silicon molds.

Pour melted beeswax into silicone molds and let set for about an hour. You can place them in the fridge to speed the hardening of these bars.

Use these bars after baths or showers to keep your skin silky smooth. Enjoy!
