Don’t get rid of those milk jugs.

Drill some holes on the cap, fill it up with clean water, and now you have a watering jug.

Easy to use and the best part is you can see how much water you have left after watering your plants.

Those jugs will give you a smooth, perfect flow.

Ladders and gutters.

It is annoying when that ladder scrapes your gutters when you’re out for some DIY.

Grab a pool noodle, cut it down the side into two equal lengths, then with a sharp blade, cut down on just one side.

Clip it on the spot where the ladder hits the gutter and let the pool noodle act as a cushion.

Lemon planters.

Graba lemon, cut it in half, then scoop out the pulp gently.

Fill it back up with potting soil, water it, then bury the soil and the rind.

It will decompose but that plant will grow thanks to all the nutrients.

Multi-use rake.

Measure a pool noodle to match the rake’s head, then cut the noodle straight on one side so you can stick it on the rake’s head.

Put zip ties on both ends, and one in the middle, and now you have a protected rake.

It also works great as a squidgy so you can now push water away from that driveway.

Get water deep down there.

Summer meants dry soil so it’s time to upcycle a plastic bottle.

Drill some holes as shown on the video, then dig a hole so you can stick the bottle down there with just the cap showing.

Open the cap, fill it with water, and those holes you drilled will slowly release the water deep in the soil.

Gloves and chafing.

It’s normal but definitely annoying when your hands chafe as you rake wearing gloves.

Blame the handle but you can use a pool noodle on it to widen your grip and avoid those painful sensations.

Makes working easier!

Protect that outdoor cord.

Grab a small plastic container and cut both ends to make a notch so the cable can rest on them.

Put the lid back on and now you won’t have to worry about getting it wet.

That’s a great way to protect those outlets.

Cover those hedge trimmers.

Those things are dangerous just sitting around so grab two pool noodles equal to the length of the blades.

Cut down the side and cover those blades, but do be careful.

Use zip ties to hold them in place and there you go, kids are safe now.
