Imagine calling a castle-like tower in the Italian countryside your home. It sounds like a fairy tale, right? Okay, well this tiny home isn’t a castle, but it is located on a historic property in the Italian countryside – and the interior is certainly fit for royalty.
Located in the Tuscan countryside near Lake Trasimeno, this charming home is about to steal your heart.
Once an old stable, the small tower has been transformed into a rustic, tiny home with two stories, bedroom, bathroom, living room with kitchenette, private garden, and access to a pool. The gorgeous property is available for rent on Airbnb for just $84/night.
“The property has been luxuriously finished using traditional building methods and materials combined with the latest technology. It has its own independent liquid propane gas (LPG) central-heating system, with the boiler located outside the building, as well as its own electricity,” it says on the home’s Airbnb listing.
Step through the front door and enter the circular living room with small kitchenette.
The main floor of the structure features a small dining table, a couple of benches for seating, and a kitchen perfect for cooking small meals with fresh Italian ingredients. Notice the small TV on the rolling cabinet!
The kitchen is small, but it has all of the amenities you could ever need.
The kitchen has a double-basin sink and a four-burner stove with oven, what more do you really need? The wooden beams of the old structure are a main focal point of the home, keeping pieces of the history that surrounds the home.
A beautifully detailed wrought iron staircase leads up to the second floor of the renovated stable.
Upstairs, you’ll find the spacious and inviting bedroom, as well as the bathroom.
The bedroom is decorated with neutral colors and minimal decor, letting the home’s unique architecture stand out and speak for itself. Natural light flows into the space thanks to a large window near the stairwell.
The modest bathroom features beautiful Italian tile work.
While most of the square footage was saved for the bedroom, the bathroom still has all of the necessities in a small yet elegant space. The stone sink and mirror are both amazingly detailed pieces that bring the bathroom together.
Look out the upstairs window to gaze out at the rolling hills and vineyards, or relax by the property’s refreshing pool.
As if the property couldn’t get dreamier, the converted stable has a romantic private garden with pergola.
Imagine noshing on olives or enjoying a glass of wine from a nearby vineyard. This historic, charming home certainly gives visitors a once-in-a-lifetime, magical experience.
