Tips to organize pots and pans in the kitchen

Pots and pans can take up a lot of space. Trying to shove them all into a cabinet can get pretty disorderly. If you’re looking to get more organization and storage out of your kitchen, try these ideas for storing your pots and pans.

Hang a Pegboard

You can transform a bare wall into a storage space by installing a pegboard and hanging pots, pans and utensils from it. You can even paint it a bold color to create an accent wall in your kitchen.

Get an Open Wire Rack

These large racks offer an industrial look to your kitchen and gives you a place to store lots of things in a clean fashion.

Put Them in the Pantry or Oven

You can store pots and pans that you don’t use often inside of the pantry or the oven. If you’re storing them in the oven then make sure you remove them before turning your oven on.

Install a Towel Bar

You can hang pots and pans from a towel bar if you attach it to the side of your cabinets or to a wall.

Hang a Ladder From Your Ceiling

This method creates a great focal point in your kitchen and serves as a great way to hang your pots and pans.

Tension Rods

Use tensions rods to create dividers in your drawers and cabinet shelves where you can organize pans, lids, and pots.

Install Shelving

Hang some shelving on the sides of your cabinets, a blank wall or wherever you have some extra space in your kitchen. You can plop your pots and pans right on top.

Use a Towel Rack for Lids

Place towel racks on the inside of your cabinets to store your lids.
