The kitchen is undoubtedly the dirtiest spot in every home, surprisingly overtaking bathrooms. Since we use it every day to cook different kinds of dishes, it’s easy for different substances to accumulate like grease, crumbs, food remains, and other residues. The number of bacteria present in a dirty kitchen is insurmountable.

Maintaining the cleanliness in the kitchen is a struggle

Untidy residues accumulate in the kitchen before you know it, especially in the kitchen sink and the stove. However, by using the appropriate disinfectant and a proper cleaning cloth, you can easily wipe them off in no time. But the same can’t be said if we’re talking about the interior of our electric appliances such as an oven.

If you frequently use your oven, you should know how hard it is to clean one

The oven is where old food, grease, and excess get clumped up and yet mostly get unnoticed. The worst part is it is quite a hassle to clean one. That is why some people don’t mind reusing their oven regardless of how dirty it is. Nowadays, ovens have self-cleaning functions, but some people don’t have the luxury to afford one. Because of that, it is great to know some cleaning tips to make your oven and other kitchen spots sanitary.

Of course, the first thing you need to do is to wear your cleaning gloves.

Next is to unwrap the detergent tablet and dip it into a cup of warm water. With the dipped tablet, you should start scrubbing it on the oven’s dirty surface using your own hands. Feel free to dip the tablet again and reuse it until it crumbles.

The crumbled tablets won’t be wasted as you can use them to clean tight spots and corners that you weren’t able to reach before. Finally, after spreading the dishwashing detergent tablets in the oven, thoroughly wipe them off using the cleaning cloth. Before you know it, your oven is as good as new.
