People are having a lot of fun designing their chicken coops. When you think about a backyard chicken coop, you might picture something quaint or picturesque.
An idyllic barn-style chicken coop is appealing, but sometimes you need something with a little bit more bite.
A genius chicken coop design.
Some crafty chicken owners have opted for a very unique design. Their coops look like a tiny Kentucky Fried Chicken.
These KFC designs have popped up in towns across America and even overseas. That classic red and white paint is unmistakable.
Luckily we can all laugh without the chickens really knowing why. We think.
Chickens aren’t laughing, but we are.
Well now calm down little fella. There’s nothing wrong with a little humor right?
Ok, this is awkward but we do know that the designs have gone viral and people are loving the irony.
Is the chicken side-eying me?
These designs are so hilarious and they just make us smile. We don’t blame the chickens for being a little bit miffed. Luckily, they are only providing eggs.
This design is truly impressive. These chickens are living in the lap of luxury in their two-story coop. The KFC-inspired design even has windows on the second floor.
These chickens might not like the joke but they sure are living the life.
Is anyone hungry yet?
Chicken Coop Condos posted another great design of a mini KFC coop. They put the caption, “Shhhhh. Don’t tell the birds.”
Something tells me they know something’s up. It’s possible they just think we are smiling at them, but we all know they are a little too smart for that.

Each coop has its own little special details. One coop featured on the Woodworking Tips Facebook page shows a very large KFC sign behind the coop, along with an ‘Order Here’ sign.
We appreciate all the effort these clever owners put into each and every design.
Why not include a little signage?
This coop’s KFC logo is very clear on both the tiny bucket and the side of the coop. It even has a convenient drive-thru sign.
It reads: ‘Come and get your ‘butt nuggets’ (eggs of course…) 1 dozen for only $5.’
That is what I call a finger-licking good deal.
The rooster has some concerns.
We hear you loud and clear, sir. Don’t get your feathers in a twist. This is all for fun.
Some people may not be too thrilled with decorating their beloved chicken coop as a KFC restaurant, but it is all in good spirit.
There are so many clever, hilarious designs and I’m sure we will see even more creative KFC-inspired chicken coops in the future.
In the meantime, the chickens will be rolling their eyes.
